Unintentional 1lb hang snatch PR wooooo. This is about 5lbs more than my opener from Mid-Americans in Oct 2016 so that's pretty nice. It didn't feel heavy just slow, uncoordinated, and unconfident. I think after 4 weeks of DAQT's programming I'll be in really good shape again probably.
Also HEY WOW I didn't need wrist wraps at all for this that's a pretty huge thing.

I had 5 sets planned but this weight matched my previous best hang clean and similar complex of hang cnj + cnj and I just didn't want to keep failing shit.
So the jerks still felt pretty easy, though, especially compared to the cleans LOL. My 2nd pull is all jacked up when I pull from the floor so that made receiving it really hard. Good practice just working through the shittiness and getting the work done instead of getting frustrated or a loser mentality like I'm prone to.
Looking back at the vids it looks like I need to dip a little deeper maybe. I've been trying to pause on my jerks to work on stability but uhhh yeah that doesn't always succeed.

Then I did 5 rounds of 45s of various jumping things and rolling pistol squats. Definitely not as gassed as doing 1 min circuits of just like jump squats and jump lunges, though. I think I may just stick to those 2 for 4-5 rounds.
