Wanted to try hook grip using the cues in this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=drGcGdSMeOg (cliffs: pivot the thumb from where it joins the hand, not from any of the thumb joints; angle hand so that index finger is pointing straight down; grab mostly with the second and third finger (index finger does not need to grab thumb)). Worked great.

Deadlifts felt like shit though. 140 kg was hard, and I tried with both conventional and narrow and wide sumo.
