Today I tried "flaring" my elbows in the bottom. It felt like my elbows were way outside my wrists, but in reality they were actually slightly inside the point directly under my wrists. It felt more natural to bench this way and since it didn't create a ridiculous tucking of my elbows, I was stronger this way.

I also learned that I need to initiate the push off the chest with a tuck in order to not fuck up the lockout.
