Got sick again after the competition. Should maybe not have competed when I wasn't 100% yet. Today I was good to go though.

Took all reps out of a rack and made sure to get a real pause before pressing.

I kept pressing the first rep out away from my face. Maybe the benefit I otherwise get from the slight knee jerk I get when locking my knees before pressing makes the bar go straighter up.

The 100 kg sets were very tough.

Miraculously, my left shoulder didn't hurt on any of the bench sets.

Used a new cue "meet the bar with the chest" today as well as "push yourself into the bench". It is supposed to make you keep your shoulders retracted. Felt nice. It had a tendency to make my ass lift off the bench and for my head to lift off, resulting in a bench style which resembles Mark Bell's or Dan Green's. Felt much more explosive off the chest. Tried some sets with my usual bench style as well. Not sure which I prefer.

↑ This was heavy enough. Called it quits after this.
