Felt a strain in my neck after each set, including the warm-up. After the last single it felt bad enough that i decided not to dl.
When i set up i lift my upper back of the bench and keep only the head in contact with the bench. That should be the only time I'm putting pressure on my neck during the bench but it doesn't feel bad when i do that. Hopefully it will stop if i stop that
