Another board I log on was having a "BW Press for reps" challenge so I decided to do that today for fun. I originally was hoping for 5, maybe 6 reps so to only get 2 is pretty heart breaking. Really struggled to find my balance at the top of the second rep to take in some more air and that rep in general was pretty slow, so there was no chance of the third one going up. Thinking the weight loss is starting to really take a toll on my strength. No big deal, it'll come back once I start eating again, but it does make days like this way less fun. The 205x8 set was also lame.
Squats were hard today too, I stopped after 8 because I could feel them getting sloppy. I've done 430 for 10 so 400 for 8 sort of sucks. What can I really expect though, I just need to stop being disappointed with anything that isn't a PR, haha...
Chins felt solid on the first two sets, but we were doing them on a timer so I was getting like 90 seconds rest and performance degraded fast. Felt like I got some good work in there anyways.
Definitely a 2 session.
